I was excited for a few reasons:
Peoria shows have been consistantly good for about a year now (confirmed)
Wanted to see what the hype on trash talk was all about (impressed)
Wanted to try out the new guitar (argh)
It wasn't work (so beautifully true)
Brents b-day playlist (best part of the night)
Hofacker's(ova's) varsity jacket:
Needless to say, the night was looking up. But it was surprisingly uneventful? Nothing that great happened, our set was dope, caution said that it was one of the best weekend nachos sets ever (ehh, maybe because of his "bape" hoody), and trash talk was pretty awesome.
We were talking to those guys and they all seemed real cool, my favorite part was that they brought along a dude to play bass who is not related to hardcore/punk rock what so ever, he's just normal person who happens to know how to play an instrument being exposed to this random ass scene.
(They're reaction was insane)
That was kind of it for the night, not to say it was boring though.
But since that was short I'm going to combine it with the next day.
Lots of stuff going on yesterday, but in the middle of it we saw a girrafe. In October, in schaumburg, in a tent. It was so bizarre. He ate an ice cream cone or two right out of my hand. I couldn't believe something from Africa, whether it was raised there or not, could deal with the temperature yesterday.
A black bear on the other hand...
Oh and here's lion/tiger cubs? I was like baffled at the collection of exotic animals at this pumpkin farm...
Kangaroo with a baybay inside it's pouch, kind of lame in photo but seeing the joey move around inside the mom was fucked.
Old major.
So we got cider, pumpkins, and probably ecoli but it was cool.
Mine turned out like a fiend skull mixed with Sloth from the Goonies. Bummer
OUT
